JENTLE SALON Collection – Unique Collaboration Between Jennie (BLACKPINK), Gentle Monster, and… Capybara

Following the success of the Jentle Garden collection in February last year, Jennie (BLACKPINK) continues her collaboration with Gentle Monster to launch the third eyewear collection named “Jentle Salon.” The singer has teased the new collection with images that have left fans and Gentle Monster enthusiasts eagerly anticipating its release. Jentle Salon is set to officially launch on May 1st.

In the sneak peek images for the Jentle Salon collection, Jennie impresses with her dynamic and youthful outfits. Sporting an adidas jacket paired with a gray mini skirt adorned with lace details, she completes her look with stylish sunglasses from the new collection. Notably, the skirt Jennie chose is from the Calos Set by L Seoul – a local Vietnamese brand. This isn’t the first time a K-pop idol has worn designs from L Seoul. Previously, IU, Jessica, Miyeon ((G)I-DLE), and others have also been seen in this Vietnamese local brand’s designs.

Jentle Salon debuts with a total of 8 designs, including both sunglasses and prescription glasses frames: Fish Tail, Barrette, Hush, Donut Bun, Glitter, Baby Pony, Wispy, and Cheveux De Nini. The designs strike a delicate balance between the unique personality of Gentle Monster and Jennie’s femininity. Jentle Salon draws inspiration from soft, graceful shapes and lines, embodying a distinct fashion personality. The collection features a variety of styles, from cat-eye frames, classic oval frames, unique square frames, to bold “geek-chic” frameless glasses.

The highlight of Jentle Salon is the unique decorative details that reflect Jennie’s distinct style. The collection introduces a total of 11 charm designs, including capybara (the singer’s favorite animal), clouds, bows, pearls, and stars. These details can be easily removed or changed, allowing users to express their own style. Charm glasses have been the highlight of Gentle Monster’s recent eyewear collections, winning over fashion enthusiasts.
